well i want it, and my p800 is locked, should i crack it and sell it for 300$ or less, i have no clue

Unlocking does make the P800 more appealing. I assume you are not from the UK - in the UK Vodafone do not seem to lock their phones.
I unlocked my P800 using a T28 data cable and some s/w that cost about £15 from an internet shop (there are lots to choose from).
Also I sold my 3 month old P800 for £225 very quickly on eBay - I suspect I could have got £240 but I wanted to have a quick sale.

Using your "Backspace" key, move curser to the "8", delete that, then type a "9" in its place;
Step 1, P800,
Step 2, P 00,
Step 3, P900,
