Well, you seem to be decided on the 6600..even though I wouldn't consider that thing a smartphone by far.

For the price of a 6600, you can get an excellent, warrantied P800... but if the P800 has too many features that you won't use, the 6600...it seems... might be your best bet. (I think the 6600 is what the 7650 and 3650 SHOULD'VE been)

Sendo... well... I'm a bit 'iffy' about Sendo due to their lack of support... but other than that... if you like the feature set, and it's at the right price... then go ahead.

P900 is the best choice for me.
But either the 6600 and Sendo X aren't bad at all.
But as I said, have a closer look to the P900 before you decide

Treo 600. In my opinion, a smartphone is a combination of the OS on the phone and the integration with your desktop. Sadly, the P800 sync is severely limited. Till I had my P800 (which was a good 5 months ago, and things might've changed now) the sync station was limited to syncing the native P800 apps, i.e contacts/calendar/notes/email.

At the momentl only PalmOS and PocketPC based based phones offer ActiveSync/HotSync which let third party developers add conduits to the sync program to interact b/w the PC and the phone... for instance, this makes s/wares like Ultrasoft Money possible, which provides excellent integration between Microsoft Money and my palm. I remember in the P800, jsut to transfer my SMSs, I had to use a s/ware to extract the sms's to an XML file and then use a filemanager to manaually transfer them to my PC. The software base of PalmOS softwares is staggering - u can get an application that meets pretty much any requirement, there is no memory leakge to worry of, the OS is robust and stable. Treo has been making smart phones for quite sometime and the 600 is like their fifth iteration and I've been following up on various forums and the reviews have been almost invariably postive. PocketPC phones, on the other hand, I wont take even if sum1 gave it to me for free.
