I was wondering how many, has experienced problems with their T68m phone. I haven't had anything but troubles with mine.
# It shuts down when it lies in my back pocket
# It displays that there is average coverage, but when I call someone it never reaches the connecting part, cause somehow the coverage disapeers!
# At a time my display went beserk and showed a lot of strange symbols in the display, but they weren't there when I closed/turned it on again (has though been solved with a software upgrade)
# And a last it is so damn slow when writing a SMS, looking at my stored SMS's

Could Esato make a vote on how many that had experienced problems and how many times??
To me it sounds like quite a few, but maybe that's normal???

Mine is at my service point for the fourth time now! First the volume-button stopped working! One month at the service point! Then it started to live it's own life, with turning it self off and on, locking up and so on.. I'm going to get a new T68m in the end of the week, so I hope the one I get then works!

Suppose ive been lucky i seem to be the only one who t68 is in superb order

I heard some rumours that if the T68m (early HW R-states) has serious problems, won't fix it, they replace it with a new one.

Have anyone got their phone replaced(not due to complaining of missing MMS)?
Did you get a T68i or T68m?
How long do you think before run out of T68 and replace phones with T68i?

In my ears it sounds like someones wish-list more then facts...!?

I had only those problem with GSM-field coverage (usual for ericsson! ) but after visiting service centre (my phone was here for ONLY 2 (TWO) DAYS!!!) where I also get newest R2B013 software and of cource radio part replaced as said in the report mine is fine now and works exelent, also WAP (trough GPRS) is MUCH FASTER now after this SC visiting! No other problems with my T68m at the moment (using it from the end of November 2001, R1A/R1B said at its back; made week 46, 2001 in Sweden).

I had an early T68m where the screen went berserk during Wap and after I turned it off - it was OFF permanently, the archetypical brick
No problem at the service point, got a new T68m after a little more then a week. Only the battery is left from the original phone, and unfortunately the battery is now a little losely fitting

/H - I still love my T68
