The supplied horizontal belt case from SE is, I find, too prone to accidentally falling off a belt. I have little confidence in it. I'm using my old Piel Frama case for the P800 at the moment but it's a little too large. Also the design leaves the P900 hanging upside down on the belt and I fear I will lose the stylus (though it does appear to be firmly held in place).

Has anyone seen any P900 cases yet? Any that can be recommended?

Thanks.

P800lad...perhaps I should change that now that I have the p900!

Being that you already have a PF case you probably have a solution. I have a custom hand made Alligator skin case from PF (pics of case on my P900 impression link). I called a liason of mine at the time and described what I wanted in the case. It took them a little over 3 weeks to make it for me. With that said I have requested that they make me new case with some modified specs that would accomodate my P900. So if you would like you can PM me and I can have one ordered for you as well under the same work order as mine. That would end up saving you some extra labor cost fees as well. If anyone else is interested you can PM me with a request as well.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but in the Vodafone sale, they are selling Nokia 7650 cases for £9.95 in the UK. Leather, and has a belt loop, seems the right size for my P900....and is vertical, rather than the horizontal SE ones. Its called a CNT-69 (ooh err missus!) on the Nokia site.

Krsusell produce a quality horizontal case for the Nokia 7650 that fits the P900. It uses a belt loop so this is more secure, only about UKP13. If look on ebay for the Nokia 7650 you will see there are other pouch type cases with a belt loop for not more than UKP9.

@p800lad

I saw this case for sale on Ebay - it's apparently a Peil Frama (is that the PF casing that was mentioned earlier?) case designed specially for the P900. I'll say it looks pretty darned good, although the price still turns me off...I'd rather spend my money on some extra memory!

Man, I can't wait till I get 10 posts and can put a pic on my nick!

i'm more fond of vaja cases. the one i had for my pocket pc was gorgeous, much finer and elegant than pielframa (personal opinion)

have a look at www.vajacases.com, then click on "products" then "smartphones" then sonyericsson and select the p900.

for the p800 they had an amazing case. it was pretty open, no flip, and it fit the phone like a glove. the p900 case has a flip (thing that covers the screen)

@ Bulu -

I guess the poster is looking for an another after market case other then PF case. That is the case that I have Ruben designing for me with the special money clip addition. It is similar to the one I have for my P800 with the exception that the newer one has slots on the sides and a tad bit slimmer because the P900 is slimmer. Remember Vaja cases only allow you to use the P900 with flip OFF. That's a big turn off considering that you eliminate the cool option of using a key pad and simply flipping it down when you want to use it as a pda.

Try dialing on a phone with no keypad with your eyes closed or while focusing on the road during a drive.....

Take a look at my old P800 PF Crock Skin case. I was told that it was too bulky, but then again so was the P800. The newer PF case is actually slimmer then the one pictured below because the P900 is a tad bit slimmer. Of course the Vaja is going to be thinner overall, but remember they design the case with knowing that there won't be a flip on the phone. If PF wanted to only allow the user to use a P900 phone with flip off I'm sure they could get it just as slim. However, they were smart to keep in mind that it was not practical to limit the phone from using its most revolutionary accessory (removable keypad flip). No other smart phone in its market offers a removable keypad flip. It's either no flip or a non-removable built-in flip. Only about a week left now until I get the specially modified P900 shipped to me.

You got a P900 dogg and you complaining about case prices? That PF case in the pic above set me back 110 Euros last year. I thought it was well worth it as it was only 10% of what I paid for that phone. Remember that SE will charge you close to half of that price for their OEM case.
