So the P900 can't use the Memory Stick Duo Pro: To be honest I don't know much about Memory Stick, as its not a media I have used before. Is its form factor the same as the MS Duo, which the phone can use, and if so is it just a case of firmware support for the Pro version and its higher capacities? If it is, is it likely to be supported in the future?
Ok ok no more questions from me, but I want answers damn it

Think its a hardware thing cause the normal MS Pro's dont work in the old MS slots either. Good news is the Pro slots are backward compatable. Also the Pro has the copywrite of the white sticks build in. That affects which slots can read it to.

It is a shame that the Search is not working. There are lots of very informative threads on this subject. In summary, from what I remember:
1. People have claimed that they have seen (prototype) 256MB Duo's working in a P800
2. The Duo Pro h/w includes serial and parallel connections, the P800/P900 supports serial data transfer and therefore theoretically it is possible for Duo Pros to work with the Pxxx
3. Sony's PR claims that for MOST devices a firmware upgrade is all that is needed for Pro MS to work
I hope someone has the link to the very extensive thread on this subject.
