BigFeat was nice enough to permit me a sample of his vidoes. To say the least the quality is excellent. Even in full screen mode they are clear as can be. They also come with sub titles.

Bigfeat, is there a way to get rid of those?

Keep up the great work

Yes.... The subtitle idea was in the case one doesn't have a headset or the surroundings are too noisy. At any rate, there are plenty available titles with no subtitles. I have tweaked a few settings as well to enhance the quality as of late. Those samples were created quite some time ago. The new titles that I am working on are being optimized for the P900. I am also working on getting them to stream from the site directly to the unit. All those enhancements will be made available once the site is relocated and officially launched later this month. Thanks for the feedback.

when you say stream from the site to the p900, how would that work. I use a Mac and found that downloading was easy and simple. FIrst i downloaded to the Mac and then transferred it to the memory stick.

worked seemlessly.

Thanks

@Harleydogg - By streaming I literally meant streaming the file via GPRS to your mobile. I only state that as an option... The download option is great for some as the server allows for transfer (download) speeds above 1500kb/s. However, the ability to remotely view content outside of an office setting (on a beach) is a conceptual project that I plan to solidify soon.

@Movie_Man - Nice of you to plug your work (LOL). All the content on my site are both on a server and backed up on DVD-ROM discs. So technically all these files have already been encoded to .3gp/mp4 format and could be made available now if I'm inclined to do so. If you notice on my reply to Harleydogg the subtitles were an addition for a specific purpose. Moreover, my files are not segmented at all. As far as quality and content the difference is one can walk into a store and purchase what you make available, however, the content I provide is exclusive. At any rate, I have a different concept in mind. But good luck with your ventures anyway.

Well segmenting is very important for p800 users wishing to use the more advanced camcorder movie player. For example they are half way through a movie and the phone rings the player automatically resets to the start of the movie. Now this would be very annoying as they cannot fast forward in the camcorder app. So the segmenting lets them get back to where they were in the movie.

And I would like to know what store you managed to buy films already encoded in to 3gpp?

Or were you referring to your Pirate movies which you have made well Pirated movies are not hard to get hold of. But I find it hard to believe you can obtain true DVD quality movies as your starting point to convert in to .3gpp

Any way we all know you’re a notorious liar my friend we have seen the rubbish you post. Have a nice day.
