i have two SE phones: t310 and t610. when i send an mms with a picture to my email addres, i get the mail, but the picture is nowhere to be found. The mail itself is of right size (20-35kb), but there is no link to a picture. It looks like an "empty" e-mail which is to big to be empty. the same problem occurs with both phones. On the other hand when sending mms from nokia 7650, everything is as it should be. the settings for all three phones where alredy installed when the phones where bought (by the operater). i phoned them but they don't seem to know what's wrong. Nothing is wrong with my SIM card or anything besauce i've also borrowed my mums and the result was the same.
what could be wrong!

You can't open attachments via email on any of those two phones. Yes it downloads it, but it goes into some sort of black hold never to be viewed. You need to send it to your phones number, them you can they it in mms.

i'm afraid you've misunderstood. i'm not trying to open e-mails on my phone but on my computer. and all i get is a big email with no attachment. is there something funny SE does with pictures so they can't be seen.

Silly me! But we now have some sort of link between the two problems. I wonder what they do to it?

yes i know i can send pictures (but only pictures) via e-mail and it's a lot cheaper, too. but i want it to work via mms as well. I know it should work and that's way it's bothering me. Besides i can't send pictures via e-mail if i use a web based e-mail account.
my operator is Mobitel, Slovenia. that probably doesn't help you much.
i've had troubles with 2 phones using 2 SIM cards. i've asked a couple of my friends which also own SE phones to send me a mms, but i'm still waiting. if i don't get a picture in their mail, i think it's preatty obvious that Mobitel's setting are somewhat wrong and don't work well with SE.
