I've had my P900 for a few days now and I have to say it's brilliant and definitely sufficiently better than the P800 (IMHO) to warrant the cost.

However, I have noticed a bug that SE need to fix on the next release and wonder how many more you've found.

I often use the C button to put the phone in silent mode and also to mute the microphone. Whilst it works perfectly to switch on and off the silent mode it only works to switch on the microphone mute (during a call) and not to switch it off! To do that you have to use the menu key and then the correct option.

Anyone else notice this or any other genuine bugs?

I have similar problem with c key on my T68i.
In a rush I have erased a contact for few times while trying to lock keypad. That happens because to lock keypad you should press c move down joystick and press yes, but to erase contact you should move down joystick press c and yes. Quite similar combination especially if taking into account the fact that in a rush I sometimes do not press c firm enough and automatically repeat this operation after moving joystick down.
I informed SE also that in my opinion its not clever to assign any other function to the key that erases something.
I think, you should do the same, and hope that SE will take your opinion into account in future.

On the T68i, why not just press the menu button and then 1, works for me. 2 actions rather than 3 and no danger of deleting a contact

Thaks, that really is much better way to lock keypad, but I still don't understand why SE made another one with c key?

To the original bug:

Are you saying you can turn on the mute by pressing the 'c' button, but you can't turn the mute back off the same way? My unit certainly doesn't have that issue.

Only point of note is that you have to hold down 'c' for a few seconds to turn mute on. A quick press is all that's required to turn it off.

Mine is the same way. When on a call pressing 'c' mutes the microphone but to unmute I have to select it from the menu (pressing 'c' for any amount of time does not work).

I have
Phone: CXC162022 R3A024
Bluetooth: CXC12529 R5D
Organizer: CXC162021 R1A05
CDA: CDA162003/3 R1A04

(this is one of the Expansys german ones) Maybe a newer firmware fixes the issue thus some people do not see it?

Actually I've just tried it and you're right, it isn't a bug. You just have to hold down the C button very briefly to switch back off the microphone mute and not hold it down like I'd been doing.

Cheers for the tip and sincere apologies for SE!
