For what you need the P900 has it all for me. I have a Pocket Pc too so use both to compliment each other. I dont like the design of the XDA2

I have had both (P900 and XDA2)..
For the price, both are around the £500 mark, the XDA2 is a much better product, but if you want a phone more than a PDA, get a P900 but if you are going to carry a P900 and a PDA...Well you have to get an XDA2...

However, the widht of the phone, no jogdial, fast battery consumption, and reportedly unstable speed caused me to go for the P900 instead

I agree, the biggest problem I have with the XDA2 is the shape, not the size.
Battery consumption not such a problem, 3-4 days for PDA is very good.
The XDA2 I had was very fast not unstable at all.
The problems with the p900 (IMO),
Small screen
Not a real PDA
Ridiculous memory size, 128MB. That is a joke
Limited software. Just check how much software aval for the XDA2.
And then there is the price.....for what it does it is very expensive.
I don't have a separate PDA, and I would not want to carry PDA and phone. Very inconvenient.
It comes down to personal taste.....
