Where do you get the software to do that?

Quciktime can't do it
neither Mpegable..

Please help... I need to convert some The Simpsons movies..

One more thing... When converting vidoes on Quicktime, I can't get the sound at all... It says that the video has no audio

Thanks dude for the videos... i'll go check them out

how do you convert them? Which software...

I have problems because some of the Simpsons movie that I have donwloaded from Kazza is in .asf format...

and my MVX10i Cannon Digital Camcorder also records its digital movie in .asf format... although the manual said that it is in Mpeg-4.

The technical support ppl said that .asf is a type of Mpeg-4 movie... is that true?

(edit)
Which free software can I use to playback those movies?

Thanks

I had the same problem

I convert the movie through mpegable without altering any settings this somehow makes the audio compatable with quicktime

Then use quicktime to convert movie

You can convert .asf to .avi with this program :
AsfTools ( http://www.geocities.com/myasftools/ )

Convert .avi (or .mpg) to .mp4 with :
PVAuthor ( http://www.packetvideo.com/shop/authordownload.asp )

In order to view virtualy any kind of media (video & audio) use this :
Media Player Classic ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ )

@welsh uk

oh that works? well anyway, converting with an unregistered mpegable will result in having some yellow logo on the left hand top corner of the movie.. which is kinda irritating.

@faithless

hey.. where can i get the PV player on the PC for free?

I am really thankful for you help..
