Hello all.
This is my first time posting on this site and I have to say I am impressed so far with what I see. I have been browsing around over the last couple of days reading the various bits and pieces and could not help noticing that this site, like others, mistakenly believes that a standard cable connection between a T610 and a PC spells doom to those wishing to send PIC’s from the Phone to the PC – NOT SO!
I do it all the time with a cheap £7 serial cable and the best Mobile Phone software out there – floAt. Available at:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=71167&release_id=196596
So there is no need to buy those expensive IrDA or the Bluetooth goodies. I have gained a lot from this site so wanted to give something back. Hope some people find this usefull

I have an IR port on my laptop so I've no need for a cable.
Still, they have their place, I believe and some will get a lot of use out of them.
