I'm trying to move some mp3's across to my P900's 32mb memory stick and it's taking ages, takes several mins to transfer a 5mb file. I looked in control panel options and set the baud rate to maximum for the PC connection.

Would transfers go faster if I transferred data via bluetooth?

Not that much difference.

Best way is to get a separate USB reader like many P800/P900 users have done, especially important with 128MB cards.

The USB as actually a serial to USB converter to maintain backward compatibility with Ericsson connector and transfer speeds are serial speeds.

The PC suite will see all communication has one true a serial port... it means that there will be NO difference between cabel, usb or BT.

Only an extern MS reader/writer on USB or inboard will increase the speed.
