what is this 128 meg card max to support the P800/900?? thats a day l light rip off. All of us would expect at least 512 cards ot eb available with the intoroduction of those phones..how long it took them to introduce the 128 duo card for P800?? thats sad i think..people here r buying the XDA 2 with 512 cards. thats what we need, a freaking 512 min if not a 1 gega card. recording clips, MP3 sons, pictures, 10s of different softwares and applications, movie clips, powerpoint/word/excel files...all those need bigger storage areas..whats up with SE??? why have they made it so difficult for us, users?? i cant sotre a damn thing on my phone and i dont want to get the 128, which i think is not an enough capacity for me..

Buy more memory stick 128... I have one 32mb, two 16mb, and one 128mb. I made mp3 songs as small as possible without losing quality using Creative Playcenter. I use stacker also.

gunn, yes, but thats just a work around. 128Mb is nothing in this day and age. I now have two 512mb SD cards on my ipaq full of music and I love it.
this is part of the reason I have opted out of the P900 now and will wait to see what

do next.

@D_G:
Couldn't agree more.
P800's been available in India for a year now but still NO sign of Duo's at all. Not even 16/32 MB Duos. Frankly speaking, its frustrating.

does not even provide these on order basis.

thats not my point gunn. i dont wan t to walk aroun with 10 memory sticks. i want to have everything on 1 card in my phone.
but i guess that will never happen. I'm also afraid that we will have the same problem when a new phone is released, after the P900. ITs gonna be the same question of why sony doesnt release a 512 duos for their phones???

You will have to accept that fact or buy another phone!!
And you can buy MS Duo up to 128mb everywhere in the world using the internet, even in India

People seem to be loosing sight of the fact that the P800/900 is a PHONE with PDA features.
I admit that it would be nice to have big cards to store all our stuff on, but don't forget that

don't just have an interest in phones, they also (as sony) have a vested interest in selling Clié PDA's.
I'm sure that

and Sony would love us all to be walking around with a P900 in one pocket and a Clié in the other...
I think the only hope we have is that a third party can produce a larger card; perhaps two 'banks' of 128mb that can be switched in software.

I still want telepathy connection. If Microsoft makes smartphone with voice command, why not

makes it with mind command.
Another missing features in P900

WHETHER THIS THREAD IS "STUPID" OR NOT IS A
SUBJECTIVE MATTER...
Buying a Duo online from India is not a wise decision because:
1. Customs duites are VERY high
2. Customs people are very unreliable. There's a very good chance that I may never receive the Duo.
