Is there any Infrared software for my T616 that would be able to turn it into a remote?
My friend with a Nokia 3650 has it, and it's fun to mess around with, so I was wondering whether or not there is anything for the T616

true, but gadget-wise it's damn cool, even though you got to keep it that close to the tv ir port :-)

I was just wondering.
judging from the replies so far it's possible but not very practical? how close do you have to hold it exactly?

Apparently 30 centimeters! which isn't long enough to be able to fool with the TV in class
