It's the t68i all over again. I really hope not.... I picked up my new SE Z600 yesterday here in Melbourne Australia ( the courier from the SE warehouse had just dropped them off about 30 minutes before me walking in
Anyway.... The phone is fantastic, the look, size, shape and the screen rocks, coming from the T610 the screen is a huge improvement. But I'm a little scared. After a full charge and keep in mind I've only had it on for a little while, the reception is so jumpy the bars go up and down and up and down, very similar to the T68i which sucked so much I couldn't wait to get ride of it. So I hope even with the jumpy bars it can hold a call, I'll let you know in a few days. But so far loving it. And my partner is happy she has got the t610 now and we can finally get rid of the t68i

.. i got mine on monday ..(i work at vodafone)
.. anyways i had no problem with RF ... it does look at bit jumpy at times .. but it could just be the RF changing from tower to tower ... thats what i think anyways .... its a mad fone HEY ... i love it ... i real big move from my P800
the gameboard is availble now which hopfully i get on monday

And a hello to you. Yeah it's a very nice phone. One other thing I have noticed since my post is the ear piece had a slight crackle on higher volumes when you are on a call, very loud and clear but with a little crackle when the other side speaks, also something I found with the t68i. Can you shed any light on that one, do you have a problem like that? Maybe I just got a dodgy phone

Yeah it happens on my phone as well, but put it down to the cheap handsfree supplied to me from the dealer, but unsure on this now
As for reception, it does appear to jump around a fair bit (using voda in sydney). I haven't really tried to call from a low signal place so not sure if it can hold the signal in a call

putting my T610 next to my Z600 both on the same carrier (currently voda UK) the signal strength seems to be about the same. I recall mobileburn saying that RF on Z600 was better but I don't see that at all. The Z600 does jump around a bit and yesterday I have seen the GPRS indicator actually go off and come back on too, but this morning it looks more stable.

And here is an other one.... How are people finding Bluetooth? I don't think it works as good or as far as the T610 did. Not sure, still playing.

no problems with bluetooth here so far. I just tested it and seem to get around the same range as my T610

the same as in t610. i read somewhere (masseur, help me out on this
) that the reason the phone RF indicator is jumpy is because it polls/refreshes more often than regular phones. besides, bars doesnt mean diddly to me, its the ability to hold/make a call is all that matters. i havent had a dropped call yet, ive made phonecalls with one 1 bar
