I am soon going to be upgrading my phone and will probabaly give my t68i to my girlfriend. she has a pay as you go orange sim, currently in a sim-free t65. My question is this, if i give her my t68i and she puts her sim in it, will she be able to send/recieve MMS messages immediately? or will she need to contact orange to get MMS activated? or will it not work at all ever with that sim?

Cheers,
Aled.

The MMS setting in the phone should be fine.

The old sim may need a sim update (sent from Orange to the sim, with it in the phone).

The acount may need MMS capabillity put on it by Orange.(not likely)

tried a similar thing with my better half. She now has my T68i (after I upgraded to a Z600) as a replacement for an 8310. Rang up singlepoint (terrible, terrible company) to get the MMS and GPRS settings through and they refused - even though the 8310 had GPRS!
