> BT Headset - What is the best for P8\\9?
Bookmark topic
Hello Everyone,
I'm fairly new to this forum (used to browse only for a while) , Looking at getting a P800 or P900 which will be my first SE phone.
I'll be migrating from a MOT V66 (yeh , I can here you all loughing already...

) so that's quite a change for me.
I've been wondering what is regarded as the best BT headset for the P series.
Any thoughts\advice would be welcome.
Cheers.

Any BT headset made by SE.. They have a great warranty policy on their headsets especially when used in conjunction with their phones. Anything else (made by other manuf.) is never gauranteed to work 100% and in the case something does go wrong vendors will love to use that as an excuse. For the times that I have been using SE phones I think i've only spoken through the actual phone probably 3% of the time over the course of 2 years. I have owned every single BT set SE had released and I have to say the others I have tried like Nokia, Motorola, Bluespoon do lack sound clarity. They may have style over the SE BT sets, but never sound quality. I say all this in mind that you are willing to use a BT set with an SE mobile phone.

Sounds great , Thanks. I've looked around and seems the current "hot" BT set is the HBH-60.
Can anyone explain in simple terms what is the differences between the 60 and 65 sets?

I wouldnt recommend the hbh-200...simply cos eveyone says that it doesnt support voice dialling and caller display with the p8/900

I thought the whole idea with the hbh-200 WAS the caller display...

HBH-65 simply has longer talk time and slight improvement in quality. I have had my -60 for 8 1/2 months now and I have noticed that the unit is eating up the charge more and more. Another bug is that it would squeal and I would hear a hissing noise, but the end user could not hear me. I would normally have to shut it off to reset it. I have not noticed anything of that sort with my -65. With that said I think it takes a long time before one starts to notice the possible bugs in any of those units. SE just covered their ass by releasing the -65 instead.
