hi
with every new SE mobile phone, i hope that the new one will be better than sony CMD-Z5........but i still waiting........--own answer maschine, perfect wheel for navigate, sendind messages direct to screen (it must be some code for that--does somebody know??), the best designe, fast software, better phonebook, groups, many memory, BETTER ORGANIZER !!, dimensions, estetic look, and many many other things..--with little upgrade of sw, Z5 will be the best phone today, too !!--and how old is Z5 ??!! i had over 20 phones, now have t610--ok, phone is perfec, camera.....but it must be better, do u understand what i wana say??if they built in camera, it must be perfect, at day and night, rezolution must be higher...when sony put Z5 out on market, it had functions and things that 3 years u didnt need to upgrade or repair..and it was on the top !
-so, SE, may u , please, make a phone that we will not need to change, upgrade or repair until, for ex., UMTS comes in broadly usage ??
the best regards from croatia

I agree, the Z5 was an awsome phone. But it's obviously not as good as my p800 or i wouldn't be using it, nor would I have spent the money! But I see what your saying, and If they brought out a new model, that was just a massivley improved Z5, but keeping the classic ideas then it would be very nice indeed.
But i think the menu's and everything have all changed now, and they want to stick with the system they have throughout the range, basically so people dont get confused. But a 5 way jog-dial would be nice on ANY phone!

I loved my Z5, but as with any evolution, the T610 is far superior. I've never had any problems with my T610. Maybe I've just been very fortunate.

From my experience with my Z5, when browsing webpages, you could only see the left part of the webpage. Wap browser used to get out of memory error when browsing for more than an hour. I really miss the built in answerphone, it was a great feature.

z5 was gorgeous had five in two years. email worked like a charm. still got my j5e which while not as good had similar features. i'm one of those who would have bought the z700. hope sony realises the customers that miss that kind of phone.

@aflaTOXIN
Have you written Sony Ericsson about this? Better start now if you want them to start taking notice of their shortcomings.
