I got a SE T610 with firmware RC1.
I would like too upgrade it to RC3.
I live in Norway, and I know of many places I may
upgrade it, the only question i`m wondering of is:
Does this cost money? Do I have to explain where I bought my phone? Or may I do this Anonymous?

As said above, it is free during the 12 month warrenty period, but the service center may (quite rightly) ask you why you need the upgrade. If this is the case, just do a search on here to find what fixes come with the new firmware version and tell them that. For example tell them that the phone won't run some Java applications that you need, so you must have the speed increase that come with R3C
