I kept having problems with imap over ssl using port 993 (which is the internet standrad).
When I set imaps on the server to answer on port 143 and did the same on my P900 it started working as it should. However I can't ask all providers to have encrypted imap on port 143 as that is reserved for unencrypted traffic (and blocked by the firewall).
My question is therefore if anybody has imaps working on port 993.
