T68i problem_Copy SIM_memory full?
Sony Ericssson T68 problem:

I purchased my T-mobile t68i at Argos three days ago...

The problem is that it doesn't allow me to add any contact in to the phone book, when i tur it on and move the joystick it show the message:

Phone book is
empty
Copy from SIM?

After confirming message

Copy from SIM
make take few
minutes.
Copy now? I have already copied my contacts to the sim using a nokia 8310.... so i try...

After confirming message

Copying from SIM

and green indicator moving from left to right.

When indicator reach end

Memory full.All
entries could
not be copied

But if I open

Phone book ---Advanced---Memory status

it shows

Phone memory
0(510)
SIM memory
56(100)
E-mail 0
VoiceCommands
0(50)

Phone memory is not full !? Why is it not accept copy from SIM card to phone memory?

How many contacts do you have on your SIM? Check in another phone.

I've 56 contacts in the sim card, and it works fine in my 8310...

I tried to add just a contact to the phone book but when i press yes to save and exit it shows the message "failed"...

This is a common bug with a batch of T-Mobile grey T68i's.
A normal firmware upgrade will not cure the problem!
All it needs is a software patch correction
(known as 'T-Mobile CDA Fix' or something like that!) using EMMA II.
This can only be done at service centres - Sony Ericsson, CPW etc.

Thanks, now I understand why the second phone I was given, replacing the first, had the same problem too.
Now It is on way to service center...
