In the blue corner we have the P900 with an Arm 9 processor and in the silver corner we have a XDA II running on Xscale 400mHz. Ok the specs on the internet would suggest that this contest would be won by the beefier XDA II. But what the P900 gives up in performance it gains in functionality.
The rest of my review is in
http://groups.msn.com/P900/ with pictures. So hop over to the Msn group and check it out.

There is also a lengthy discussion and comparison in this thread...
I love P900: But the XDA2 has too many features

Today I tested my first XDA II (which belongs to a friend of mine from Dubi) and I felt great!!! Why because I was the prode owner of a P900. Another fact is that I have a pocket pc already (Fujitsu Pocket Loox 600 , running WM2003 with MS voice commander and Mphone) and I can make my PPC into a XDA with the help of Mphone & Bluetooth.
XDA II
Plus's
1. Great PDA but its shape is a bit funny and I can see that the silver paint will be peeling off after a few months.
2. Great for memory expansion with SD i/o and MMC slot
3. Running WM 2003
4. Bluetooth
Minus's
1. There is no way in hell that im going to use that thing to make a call in London. People will think that I have a Laptop on my ear and chances are that it will be stolen off while trying to make a call. Come on who walks around London waving a PDA???
2. Battery, battery. Tsk tsk. If anyone here owns a PDA they know what happens when the battery of a PDA runs out. For those of you that dont , we'll you loose everything. I have to backup and restore my PDA every month because of the battery. My friend has to charge the XDA every day. And if you start using the BT then say goodbye to the battery.
3. To use it on other networks you have to get the unlock code, so unless you get it you will be stuck with O2.
Verdict
Great product but is you had a Ferarii Enzo would you drive it to work every day. In english for me it was too much of a PDA and too little of a phone. The P900/800 breachs that gap and is the right size with the right specs to be a Smartphone. The SPV e200 will be out and is also another great product but it doesnt have a touch screen. I think for now the P900/800 is ideal for what it has been design for. If you want a great Pda invest your money in a IPAQ you will not regret it but dont waste you money on a XDA II just because you can make calls on it.

Because I sit for hours searching and wasting my time writing these articles. I give you a taste and if you're like me, you end up follow links from one forum to the other to read information.
Do worry I wont be doing that for long. In a week or so I will be posting the news I find on the group only. I dont gain anything from it. Its just a group, I dont pay anything and I dont charge anything and if you dont llike the information that im posting on the group then tell me and I'll work harder to find better stuff.
I find it difficult to find news about the P900, I just want to give you guys it easier. So I'm sorry for trying.

I tried to visit the site you mentioned and a nasty MS wizard asked about .NET and passports. Is this MSN / MS stuff safe for my PC?

Im using a XDA-II and P900. We develop Applications for Telca, the company responsible for customization of the P800/900 OS.
A P900 is more extensive, when it comes to developing applications for various purposes, but there are restrictions on the XDA-II. The Microsoft Mobile OS 2003 doesnt alow extensive development alot of Licensing hazards!
So in a scenario we can consider a P900 to be something like Linux, kind Open Source for alot of Application Development compared to a XDA-II.
Also a P900 is far more sleek and light weight to handle and carry for daily use, and the XDA-II much more heavy and bulky for the hands.
