I left my phone to be charged over night and when i woke up i notice that the white bar on the black screen that shows up when the phone is charging has been burnt onto my screen, this p*sses me off big time.

Has this happen to anyone else?

Does anyone know what to do about this?

Burnt?! That sucks! Do they have a CRT monitor in the T610?

He means that the writing doesn't go away... Changes in the electricity current might be the problem... This message was posted from a T610

I've noticed that when you charge the phone when turned of the screen is totally black except for one strip that's "white-ish" (it looks like the standby screen but without the numbers of the clock in it).
This is with R1A.

When I upgraded to R3C it appears the white bar is now gone and the screen is totally black.

I imagine it's very plausible that this bar could burn in (this is not only a feature of crt's).

Panic over, the bar seems to have faded by itself, its barely noticable now, but it scared the sh*t out of me.

I better get me firmware upgraded, will the firmware upgrade work on O2 versions of the T610?

I get this as well some times, once the fone has been on for a while it quickly disapears. A way around this is to charge in the day time with the stand sony ericsson sell. Then at night just turn the phone off comepletly and don not charge it. That way its avoided.
