there is not one and probably will not be one since it would need to be done in Java and apparantly there is no camera API in the T610 java implementation.

I don't think so. I think it has the appearance on the screen of a zoom but in fact you are simply changing the picture resolution from 288x352 to 120x160 and the phone is simply making that smaller picture fit the screen. If you transfer to pc you basically are just getting a smaller pic covering less area. I just tried it again to remind myself and confirm this.

Yes, you can use the camera size to act like a zoom, but its not so efficient and in small resolution pictures are poor. Sorry, t610's camera is not so good, but it's integrated in the phone and it's fun. Cheers!

No, I will repeat it is not a zoom, it just looks like that on screen.

here are two pics I took from my T610 with the two different sizes.

as you can see the detail in the smaller pic is the same size as the detail in the larger pic... there is just less of it!
