> How many of u have Video Sync problems?
Bookmark topic
Hiya mates,
I have read on this forum n also on other forums that lot off ppl with P900 are having audio-video sync troubles when playing a video clip on the P900.
Well, i dint notice this earlier but after reading such posts i jus checked on my P900 if i happen to have the same problem.Well i dint....atleast at first. What i noticed was that when u play the clip from the beginning it plays in absolute sync with audio but if u happen to skip the video suddenly n go to the middle or end of the video then this problem begins. I wonder if it has anythin to do with the buffering....
Another thing is that the ppl who have been complaining abt this seem to be having the oldest FW i.e. R3A....so i request all u P800 owners to jus try playing a video....both from the beginnin and by skipping it to the centre or end of the clip and post ur results as to whther or not u seem to be having the sync problem. Also please post ur FW if u happen to be having a problem.
Thanx for all the help.
Regards,
Doc.
P.S: I forgot to mention that i played video clips using the Camcoder application (Philips Beta) there was absolutely no problem at all and there was perfect sync between the audio n the video so i hardly think it has sumthin to do with the hardware being a problem.

i find that the audio is also out of sync, both with imported videos and recordings i make myself. the audio is a split second quicker than the video...it is noticable

Dont think I can notice it on my P900, firmware R3B004
I could notice it quite badly though on my P800

I've noticed that bandwidth is a big factor here. Whenever I make movies too big, they tend to have sync issues, especially in full screen mode. If I keep the data/frame rates down, then my audio is generally fine.
