> t68i --> t610 / z600

OK, so I have some cash to waste, so I might upgrade my t68i to a 610 or z600.
Not sure what to pick.
First of all, from what ive read so far the z600 has better screen. Well, im happy with the t68 screen and I dont suppose the 610 screen is worse than 68's (im talking about the outdoors problem, of course)
Then the z600 is too thick - i wear tight jeans !
Costs $120 more.
So my best choice would be the t610, BUT:
from what ive read, z600 reception is far better. This is important for me. As an example, the T68 was rather disappointing compared to my old T39. So if a T610 isnt at least as good a T68 in reception (and earpiece sound quality) then I'll probably have to get a z600....

if you are not going to use a holster or a case for a phone ... get the t610 it works great and it fits on your small jeans pocket ...

The only thing I don't like with the T610 is the joystick. I tried a friends phone for a couple of hours and compared with the joy-pad on the Z600, the Z600-one is faaaar way better. At least in my opinion.
Also, the keypad on the Z600 is larger and the buttons are more comfortable to use. Again, this is my opinion...
I would either go for the Z600 or wait for the new updated T630 (available Q1/2004 earliest).
PS I also use my Z600 in tight jeans, Levi´s 501. No probs for me! On top of that, the new BT headset HBH-200 so I don't need all the cables and to pick up the phone to see who's calling. It has a display on it;-)

regarding key size, yes the Z600 keys are bigger but in fact they are closer together. On the T610 the keys are a little smaller but the spacing is wider. put this together and in fact you get the same thing. its as easy to press either without fear of pressing the button next to it.
a word of warning about putting phones it tight jeans. there have been many stories of broken LCDs if you forget about the phone and sit down with it in the pocket... so be careful!
