> t68 ---> New Faceplate

Hi, I replaced my old scratched up t68 faceplate with a new one...after putting the new one on...everything works fine, except the person on the other end cannot hear anything. However, I can still hear perfectly. Am I missing something here? Is there a microphone somewhere on the old faceplate? I carefully moved everything over to the new faceplate...Thanks in advance!

did you just change the front cover, or the backcover as well? the microphone is placed in the backcover... it can also be the contact pins between the microphone and the PCB that has been slightly bent so they dont have any contact with the board.
