I tried, masseur, before posting here. But in russia here google automatically opens russian google, and of course there is nothing interesting. And altavista gives strange results. P.s. can you not go to www.google.co.uk and click where it says "pages from UK"? and then enter your search criteria?

if not do you not have a preferences button on the google pages where you can then choose to view pages only in english language?
