Hi.
am willing to get a P900 from CPW in UK. But there are some problems i think i will have which are quite meaningless, but i just gotta have a solution for them...
1. Can the orange signs be removed off the phone? and how?
2. If there is an orange startup can THAT be removed too?
3. Can it be unlocked easily?(i think YES coz i read the post posted earlier today referring to this.)
4. If i claim the phone is lost, is it true CPW COMPLETELY lock the phone at the same time, that it cannot be used again? Or is this just BullSh**?
thank you

Well if you loose the phone it will be locked IMEI will be barred off all networks which is good as your lost phone cannot be used by theiving bastards! and CPW wont lock the phone thats just common snese the net works will.

Why buy from Orange?
Wait until it's out on another network soon and avoid all the shit that comes with Orange. I moved to them because they were first with the P800 and it's been a nightmare.
My advice is to avoid Orange like the plague. Other people may be happy with them but the bastardised firmware, network lock and all the crap that they do to the phones was too much for me.

Just bear in mind all the hassle surrounding Orange firmware updates on the P800.
I bet even with the P900 and downloadable updates, Orange will block this feature or seriously delay it because of their "special firmware". You need to put in your country and operator for this to work. Orange may be first as usual with the phone but they come last with updates.
You have been warned ......

you can still destroy it and claim it has self destructed itself and you may got a new phone from se costumer repair center and you won't have any of these shit from orange

Funny you should mention that .......
My P800 is at Celestica at the moment with a few complaints. Will be OK if they repair the screen but a new one with no Orange shit on it would be even better
Does anyone know if SE are replacing faulty P800's with the P900 yet?

@drewmark
There never was a problem with updates in London. We have one SE service Centre in Aberdeen, CPW, and they STILL will not update Orange P800's
Really depends if you stay in a big city or a place where people shag sheep
