Hi all, I have the p900 for 2 weeks now and I am very happy with it. the other day I was comparing it with my friend's Nokia 6600 in tearms of the camera quality. There was not alot difference, BUT, when I switched to the Night mode and took some pictures at night, THE NOKIA HAD MUCH MORE BETTER PICTURE. the P900 pics were too dark and didn't hold much details in them. I tried to change the contrast, brightness ....ets. but still I couldn't get near 6600 picture. can someone comment on this,,, ? Why the Nokia has a better night mode? and is it possible that a newer software for the p900 can correct this.....?
thanks...

I would concur on the camera settings differences. However, for what ever quality the P900 lacks in comparison to any other unit it makes up with the additional functionality that several other units don't carry as a package. Needless to say this is still no excuse for SE to slack on some important qualities. I couldn't tell the difference from night to day settings on the P900... However, if they added 0 lux support I guarantee you SE could corner the mobile market hands down...

Well, I dont know about eveyone else, but for me I wana have a perfect phone that would beat the others in every aspect...
Going back to the Cam issue,,, I guess what you are saying is that the problem is in the hardware and there is nothing we can so about it ..

I think that's crazy, sony is one of the leading companies in camera's and it didn't install a good one in it's phones .....
well,, thanks any way for the replies...

Nokia camera phones (night mode) picture quality always seems to surpass Sony Ericssons, however SE camera phones seem to out perform nokias in good lighting conditions, atleast i believe so, does this make sense?

Hate to burst your bubble, but there really is NO perfect phone.
If they're were, then who would buy the SONY digital cameras out there?
Think about it...The truth is out there!!!
