Is R3C the latest firmware version for the T610, or is there a new one again?

Its usually the same world wide but at the moment there is a slightly different version in the asian area (R3C004 rather than R3C002) due to some language problem in R3C002 for that area.

No, its not true. The T610 has had the following versions...
R1A018, R1L013, R3B011, R3C002 (R3C004 in asia)

actually I just remembered a reply I made a few days back which has links to each thread for each firmware version so you might get a better overview of changes in each version from looking at those...
