> Z600 Active Flip turn off?
Bookmark topic
I cant work out how to de activate it. I thouht I read somewhere here that you can turn it on and off.
Also, is there a way to silence the ring without sending an engaged singnal while the flip is closed?
On the T610 all you had to do is push the C button..

To change the "open to answer" setting go to Calls, manager calls, open to answer and set it to on or off
On the T610 pressing "c" for me definitly silences the ring and sends an engaged signal so the call diverts to voicemail or whatever. I do it all the time, and it still works the same for me on the Z600.

On the T610 Ive got pushing C just silences the ring tone and turns off the vibration.. The phone will continue to ring though. Pushing "NO" sends it to the engadged signal or message back.
Is there a way to silence the ring with ACTIVE FLIP on? You cant open the flip to push C because that would in essence answer the call.

oops you are right. I had to get my phone out and look at it to check which keys I use. 'c' silences, 'no' send busy tone. Just tried it and it does seem that 'c' is working like NO now.
as for rejecting when closed, the manual says in phone closed mode to answer or reject the call you have to open it and and press yes or no. no mention of doing anything else while closed. I just tried and none of the buttons on the outside seem to do anything to reject the call (or answer it of course)

so when you get a call, opening the flip does not mean you are automatically answering it?

If you would like to silence the ringer while the phone is closed, you could just press either volume button. If you want to direct the caller to you voicemail, press either volume button twice.

OK, here it goes!
Active flip on:
When a call comes in and the flip is closed and you want just the phone to be silent without sending busy-tone - simply press one of the volume buttons on the side ONCE. Pressing it twice fast in a row will send busy-tone.
Active flip off:
Open and press "c" to be silent but not sending any busy-tone. Press no if you want to send busy-tone.
BTW:
If you have a headset unit attached (BT or wired) and you have active flip, you can open/close the flip during a call without dropping the call.

when the flip is closed.... try to press the "-" volume key once... that will serve the same purpose of press "c" for T610.
if u pressed the "-" key for twice. meaning u rejecting the call.....
got it??
