I just got myself a P900 and am transferring some audio mp3 files to the 128MB MS Duo through USB cable. I'm wondering why the transfer rate is so slow. Is this normal?

I used to have a Sony Clie and the USB transfer rate wan't this bad. Maybe there is a setting to increase transfer speed.

because the cradle uses a serial connection, even though it is usb.
most people who have a 128 or 64meg card use a seperate memory card reader to transfer files...

Could also be that your bit rate (speed) is seet on to slow. What you have to do, is to go to the control panel chose system. Than chose "hardware" (I think, mine is in swedish and called maskinvara). Here you will find 4 pushable icons. The one you chose is the one in the middle to the right maybe called "unitcontroll" (in swedish called enhetshanteraren). Find the USB COM port and right click. Check if the speed is set to 115 200. If not adjust the speed. Otherwise thats your maximum.

...Sorry my english is not sufficient...
Let the force be with you
