I have been visiting this site where they are compling an list of all the problems with the P900 to post it to Sony Ericsson to help them with there upcoming firmware update. The site is http://groups.msn.com/P900 and I have posted my problem with my battery here.

I think this is a good idea and will help all the owners of the P900

Why not summarise these issues here?

Regarding the battery problem, have you managed three full cycles of discharge and charge? Do you use Task Manager or Sman to ensure applications are closed? I've been very impressed with battery life - I use BT, WAP, Internet, the speaker with PM3 etc.

I have completed 3 cycles , i dont have BT on. And I haven't seen anywhere here where all the people could post the problems in one list to Sony Ericsson.

Understand your objectives, but why not just leave a copy here of the problem list. There are some very experienced people here at Esato who may have work arounds. Also, SE does read these threads.

It not my objectives. And Its different getting information from a forum, compared to an officail email from SE.

I will send an email to the webmaster and ask him to post the list here, but from what I read on the page that Esato banned them from the forum or ban the webmaster im not sure.

Also, does it have to be on an MSN group requiring an ID/.Net passport?

I'd love to contribute, but I'm not signing up just for that.

I wouldnt bother here is the "great" list:

Lishariou Only 9 hours battery life
P900user Germany Crashes when the flipis opened and closed
PearlJam UK I can not get into the menus when the phone flip is closed.
Triptonic If the P900 is off and is turned on. The P900 willnot start without opening the flip. With the flip closed I can not access the contact and calander menu.

Whoever runs it has been banned from esato and my-symbian so not exactly a group you'd want to join anyway!

Its not my page. I dont know all I did was press apply to join button and fill in the form. Thats all. You have to have MSN account though.

And i think they were banned because they offer link to cracked software, and have cracks on the page.

If you didnt understand my first post, then its a list which you add your problems , not read about problems and speculate a solution. File in the form and on friday they will send this list to SE , collectively.

A few people (me included) have had the "P900 non-discoverable using bluetooth" bug, sent it back in the end, waiting for a replacement.

Bluetooth from the phone to other devices works fine, but the phone behaves like it is hidden even when set to visible.
