its been awhile since i've been in this board, now that the P900 is out and i really like its feature, is it possible just to have my P800 upgrade its firmware or something so that i'll get the same features as the P900 has e.g. mp3 for ring tones?

I just thought since both of them are using symbian as their OS.

Yes, you can have all the parts that are different on the two phones upgraded by getting a kit of parts that are "pre assembled", the kit is available from SE from around November.

You will have to pay for it & i have the part number for this .....

..... ask for SE P900.

Sounds cool, but I don't think that really answered the posters question... The phone will look, smell, and taste like a P900, but it will not function as one. For instance, they are still operating on a different OS revision which makes it difficult to upgrade some of the key features not present on the P800.
