Well if I had to guess I'd say March or so, considering what happened with the P800.

Nope...it is here now if you have the right connections. I have a friend that is a territory rep for T-Mobile and some stores in his region have the phone now.

Seeing how AT&T just started offering the P800 a month or two ago, I can't see the P900 available until March at least. The US is really behind when it comes to mobile technology, but I guess that's because people really don't care here as much as they do in Europe.

Yes, just take out your SIM card and put it in the new phone. You can always purchase one of those "pre-paid" credit cards at rite aid or another drug store and put as much money as you want on it, then order the P900 from the UK or another European country.

Pre-paid credit? What a marvellous idea.

I think the question the original poster means to ask is what carrier is going to promote the phone in the US... There are quite a few vendors that already sell the phone in the US technically.. I purchased mine the 3rd week of October from the US.. With that said, I really don't see what incentive any carrier would have to carry it soon into the first Quarter of next year.. For example, T-Mo hasn't had any good sales with its sidekick or Ipaq (O2 XDA style phone). That was primarily because of the high cost and low turnover rates.. AT&T hasn't reported that many sales of the P800 as of yet.. Again, it all goes back to cost and what the American consumer is willing to pay for a cell phone.. Sprint also has a 02 XDA time mobile with a built in keyboard.. It's a sweet phone, but they sell very few off them because $600 USD is considered too high of a price for most American mobile phone consumers. Cingular just flat out sucks so forget about them carrying any decent stuff.. All that said, there is no financial incentive for any carrier to start carrying the P900 anytime in the first quarter. So anyone's best bet is to purchase the phone unlocked.. I have purchased all my mobile GSM phones SIM free.. All of them originated from Overseas, but workable on US networks. Saves a lot of the hassle of signing your life away to a contractual agreement.. You will not enjoy the same pleasures if this gem (P900) is purchased through a US carrier.. Moreover, I don't think paying that much for a phone and having the carrier's crappy logo on their as well is cool... I'm sure all Orange P900 owners cringe at the ugly logo on their phones..
