What ever happened to the built-in Instant Messenger and Chat feature on the P900? On the Sony Ericsson website it says that the P900 has these features but l can't find them on the Orange P900. Sony Ericsson Customer Service have no clue. They told me that l need to download the Opera browser.
Does anyone have a P900 with these features buit in as standard?

I think they meant SMS. My bet is something got lost in the translation.

"Send emails, SMS and MMS messages quickly and easily"

Either that or they meant that you can install an IM client on the phone.

Hi,
There will come an downloadble IM and Presence client later on maybe already in December or January next year. It is based on a new standard defined at OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) the specification is called PEP (Presence Enhanced Phonebook). Where you will be able to "see" your friends in your own phone book, But Only if they have taken a picture of themself and saved it to a specific Presence Server that the operators need to buy in order to fully support this client feature. Ask your local operator for this function.

More news to be revealed next month !

I have found out that my JAVA MSN no longer works on O2 GPRS, i wonder if they have blocked the port in order to stop people using messenger, and forcing them to text?
