> 3G phones (Specifically the Z1010)

I don't know much about 3G phones and networks, but I was wondering if 3G phones, such as the Z1010 work on normal mobile networks, such as O2 and T-Mobile. It's obvious that you can't use features such as video conferencing as the network won't support it, but for everyday functions (making calls and sending texts) do they work fine?

The newer 3g fones, ie Z1010, 7600 are dual mode GSM/UTMS fones. Although i dont think either is tri-band (GSM) so they shudnt work in the US.
