Has anyone ever flied with them? I need to catch a flight to New Delhi and everything is booked left right and centre! The only option is Aeroflot!! Via moscow through a connecting flight.

What have your expreriences been like? anyone spent a few days at Russia Airport stranded ???

Thats the bloody problem ! There are no flights - everything is full ....

I always travel on BA or Vigrin/AI but they are packed and all the rest ie emirates, gulf, lufthansa are fully booked......i've heard alot of shite about aeroflot thats why i thought i'd ask if anyones been with them to hear it from the horses mouth!!!!

Heard a lot of stories about maintenance shortcuts and parts cannibalism. I will never try to fly using that airline.

I flew aeroflot from london to moscow, then moscox to Ulaan Bataar! {also flew the reverse journey with them}. They weren't exactly luxury, and there was a lot of noise in the cabin, but apart from that it was ok. We did however make an unscheduled stop in some small russian town. No one said anything about it either, we just stopped for a while, got off the plane for 30mins, got back on and we left. Rather odd I thought! Don't worry too much, and when we flew all the first class seats were empty and we managed to blag them just by sitting down in them! The worst bit of that trip was taking off from a dirt track for a runway which faced some serious mountains whilst in a storm in a clapped out plane! Now that was worrying!
