Just wondered if I have some uber battery and didn't realise.

I left my house at 4.30am to catch a day flight to Copenhagen on business. Listened to Ogg player from when I got on my train to when I was just about to board the 7.30 flight (approx 2 hours constant use) and made 3 5 minute calls...

Had the phone in flight mode while flying.. and watched matrix reloaded DVDrip (I own the DVD and ripped/compressed with PV Author) on the two hour flight. Went through customs blah. Rang the office and then took an hour train journey to my destination.. again listening to ogg player.

Was at my destination for an hour, then reverse the journey. I eventually arrived home @ 7.30. Battery level is still at 35%.. yet I have hammered it with movies (I watched Harry Potter from my 3rd memory card on the flight back) .. as well as OGG tunes almost constantly.. and made calls and texts.

My battery is still new but already lasts longer than my P800. I would imagine having P900 in flight mode saves a lot of battery.

The battery life is awesome... I use the "blank" screensaver and it's lasted me 5 days.

I carry my a spare battery (a 1000ma P800 one) and this is the first trip like this.. that I haven't had to swap it out.

Thing is, I know I can go all day back in the office tomorrow with the battery life that is in there now

Damn. It's impressed the hell out of me today! I've had this phone for 3 days.. and I couldn't be more impressed!

I encoded at 25fps btw.. not the P800 style 12-15 and it plays as smooth as butter!

Yep i agree the P900 battery performance is excellent, mine seems to last for mega hours and its not even close to its second discharge cycle yet, i have been surfing the web via gprs and using the video camcorder all day. well done my son! This message was posted from a P900

Dear everybody, could someone elaborate with some details concerning the best protocol for charging a new P900 battery, in order to maximize battery life as much as possible, plz stress on 1st charge cycle, dicharge recharge, and overnight plugging, or just till the indiactor shows it is full.
thanks

Man, that is cool! Have to try that myself.

Yes, battery life seems much better on the P900. I've charged mine twice since I got my P900 nine days ago.
