> T610 sms scrolling problems

Anybody know why on some numbers the scrolling function would lock? An example of this would be pushing the 2 button to get "C" but I am unable to scroll to "C" as it locks on "A". Only happens on a few of the numbers though??? I should not that this only happens on the very first word in each sms, after that it seems to work fine.
