There are tons of generic BT usb adapters on eBay. They go for a lot less than they do in stores but I'm hesitant in case they're no good...
Has anyone bought any of these? Can you identify which one(s) and share your experiences?

I just bought an IR adapter off ebay for 30bux! its said it came with 500 ring tones and 500 images. The images were pathetic, and all the ringtones where opera or classical! The adapter itself is a P O S! its more fragile than my cellphone is. OH well you win some you lose some.

I bought my IrDA adpter on ebay for about $40AU (12 pounds)
Its great- works fantastic.
The bluetooth ones are awesome- I'll be getting one soon. A friend has one- they're as cheap as the irDA ones!
Get one from a reputable seller- dont pay more than 15 pounds or $25US.
There's plenty there.

It's a matter of the driver/software, really. The no-name ones have old/crippled driver and software. But you may be able to get it to work with hacked version of newer software/driver.

I've bought Bluetooth dongles twice from Ebay and both work great. I think I paid around 25 dollar.
