> T610 firmware upgrade remove icons?

Hi im taking my T610 to a phone service centre who are going to upgrade my R1A081 to the latest version, However i am with Vodagroan which have branded my phone with unwanted icons, will this update remove these logos or do i have to do something else like getting it flashed first? or can i get it flashed afterwards?
