Im a little bit sorry but... i will not use "oggplayer" anymore... the new "unrealplayer" is out and it plays both Mp3, Mp3 pro, and Ogg files.
Greeeat =)
And yes it works both for p800 and p900.

Always did like unrealplayer's play list option but how well does it play ogg compared to oggplayer (are there any stuttering) ?

Well the sound is just as good as oggplayer and in the short time i had my p900 i would say its the same or even a little bit better with the studdering. it can be the p900 that is better than p800 also

just because unreal player can play oggs does not mean many people will use that as a) most of us dont listen to MP3s and B) as unreal player offers nothing new over the Ogg player why change?

pluss OGG has lots of great skins around,

hi,

I know this is off topic, but I will ask anyways. I downloaded an MP3 to OGG converter. THe original MP3 was 8MB @ 192Kbs. I converted it to OGG 128Kb VBR with a file size of 3.49MB. What would you say is a good ratio for conversion between Mp3 and OGG? Should I use VBR at all?

Unrealplayer got a lot of skins and i bought the player before Oggplayer was out.
And to the converting to ogg ! u should go for 64kbs itīs enough.

May I ask where you got your unreal player skins?

Ogg player as an alarm function that allows you to use mp3s as an alarm. But you can do that already with the P900 So unreal player would be nicer,though, its not for free
