The P800 3D icons project is on the way to be released in the coming 48 hours. This is a replacement of the standard icons that come in the P800. This project is another PIMP-SWEET collaboration, after the successful OggAudioPlayer Package (skin+icon).
The 3D icons are from different sources. They range from microsoft, gnome, and Win XP icons. They were all brought together to make the look and feel of the phone much better.
The icons were done by me & some were modified to make them look even better than the original. I hope you like them, plus we give all the credic to my man SWEET for helping us "the community" get the chance to have such a pleasant experience with our P800s.
He managed, packaged, and developed the .sis file to make the whole process much easier.
We hope u like them. Please don't hesitate to post your comments. We would love to see what you people think about the outcome of this project.
PIMP & SWEET are here to make you P800 "abusers"

love your gadget even more.

Are they any more visually striking than the other icon sets? after trying Gnome and winxp icons, i found that in the appicker and the launcher list mode, the icons basically all looked like each other; they werent distinct enough. the original p800 icons are colourful and have a bold outline: i think thats important and it sets them out from the background.

People the release date is moved to TUESDAY. Sorry about that.
@petrutms
I hope it doesn't take us too long to release it, SWEET still is trying to manage the files. So it might take some time let's say a 48 hour range. Anyways u can checkout the collection of the small icons at

@Jim
I already checked them out, but as a result i only chose the ones the go along and fit the P800 theme.

@switchbitch

No doubt about that. They are colorful and i think u should prefer them on the P800 icons. I in my opinion got bored of them cause they r dull. Anyways checkout what the icons look like at

hi i remember when i installed the sweet cam icon the camcoder app was no longer the default player meaning i could not watch clips stored on the duo by selecting through the file manager. Will placing the new icons in the p900 make the standard video player the default when tapping clips in the file manager stored in the duo??

Yes Vermania,
A friend of mine (Crino was his name i believe

) and RGB from my-symbian developed a way that replacing the icons will not effect the way of how the applications work!
If u guys remember my Beta GNome icons, i had several problems because of the applications would not see its file associations, that is now NOT the case, i just have to look and learn how to do it... Crino explained it to me, but i had no time to look in to it...
We planned that i would make the program today, but i am very busy with school.
I have some exams next week, so i should be learning now
