With the keypad removed activate the virtual keypad, engage keypad lock then press the jogdial inwards, the phone then prompts you to press OK and the star sign to unlock it again but it does'nt work, and you have to push the jogdial away and then inwards to unlock the phone, is this a common fault or is it just my phone.

Mine doesn't offer the "OK then star" option in flip off, virual keypad mode, you push jogdial away & then inward, it all works fine.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. The virtual key board sucks. Was much better on the P800.

Had the same problem, put the keypad back on. Hopefully firmware upgrade will fix this problem.

@ Vermania regarding your question, when you tap the battery icon and then tap screenlock, mine unlocks it by pressing the joydial away then inwards, yours?

it just stays locked a pic comes up saying push the jogdial away or towards but it does f**k all i have to reset the phone! i can unclokc using the jogdial when the standard flip closed lock is on but this one does not allow me to unlcok. I suspect its some Tracker 2 comflict issue as thats running as well.

Battery icon lock with flip open, then unlock by jog also works fine for me.

@Vermania, Yes, i think tracker/handyday locks & button options can mess with normal P9 lock actions if left running.
