Hi I recently got a P800 and am really pleased with it. However I am having a few problems with the games on the E-Scumm emulator and wondered if you guys could help (and before you ask, yes I have used the search). Basically I have no idea which files on Sam and Max and Day of the Tentacle I need to transfer to my memory stick, and how to get the games running once I have the right files on my phone.

As detailed instructions as possible please.

Thanks.

McSlayer.

Mcslayer use the link i gave you for downloads and down load the escumm launcher. This then allows you to search the files on your p800. Save the game in a file you would recognise. Then its a case of look for it through the launcher.

version 0.5.1. of Escumm doesn't work with Day of the Tentacle. However an earlier version does but doesn't support sound. I've no idea about Sam n Max. Monkey Island 2 definately works not so sure about MI 1.

The files you need for DOTT (if you decide to use an earlier version of Escumm) are:
Tentacle.000, Tentacle.001 and Tentacle.002 (+monster.sou for the sound on future working versions of Escumm). All you need to do is copy them all into the same directory (eg DOTT) under "documents" on your memory stick and then navigate there using Escumm's "add game" button. Remember you need to double tap to enter a new directory.

For Monkey Island 2 the files needed are:
Monkey2.000 and Money2.001 again put in a directory within documents on the memory stick (eg Monkey 2) and navigate there.

Sorry I can't help with Sam and Max. I'd guess the theory is the same i.e. look for files relating to the game with extension .000 .001 etc.

Does anyone know when a version of Escumm which supports DOTT with sound is being released?

what is the problem with DOTT anyway?
The only thing I get is, is that I can't interact, otherwise it runs fine...
