Anyone got any ideas on how sales are going? T610 shot off the shelves - is the Z600 doing the same?

Howdy,
Good question, I'm from Sweden and here it only comes in Vodafone kits. I've heard from dealers that it's only small deliveries so far. Maybe SE prioritises other markets than Scandinavia ...
I want one unlocked which costs about 3500 SEK (if I get handson soon ...)

well there are a couple of shops in Melbourne which have it in their top five sellers for the past week, beaten by t610 and nok 7250i in one, and only t610 in the other. i don't know actual figures, but they are unlocked handsets.

Here in the Philippines almost all authorized Sony Ericsson dealers(in Quezon City) are sold out. That goes for the z600 and the P900 aswell.

The only place you can get the phone in the UK at the moment is independant mobile phone dealers, not specific places like, vodafone, orange etc. Although I know O2 are already doing Z600. I picked mine up from mobile phone centre on a vodafone contract (yes you can get it on contracts but not specifically from vodafone retailers in the uk) and I love it to bits, not one single fault with it so far.

I just got the SE z600... it's great! The only thing that disappoints me is the picture quality... it's not so great and it's pixelized But all in all, the phone is nice! it's fancy but great functionality!!!

T-mobile in the UK is also selling them since last week!

I doubt there will be a massive ad campaign like with the t610 so that should contribute to sales not being as big

the phone has been available in Australia 2 weeks now,but most stores have sold out, stock is due in the next week or so..
it has sold faster then the T610...
I have had mine 2 weeks,am using it with HBH-35,Car-100,and GBH-10(gameboard)and am very very happy...the best SE phone so far(if you measure 'best' as price, features, looks, personalisation options and optional gadgets...)
well done SE,keep up the good work!
