> Why doesnt SE make a flip phone?

I want a rugged phone, A new 3G phone and a flip phone.
SE should introduce the flip again! It would be a HIT!

do have a flip phones, the Z600 and the coming soon Z200 and 3G Z1010... and I suppose you can call the P800 and P900 flip phones too..
edit: ...or do you mean a small phone with a small flip like the T39?

Hehehe, Im a big fan of the Z5 and Z7. The Z700 would have been the best looking phone ever (in my opinion), lets hope they come up with something similar. (I know the P800 and P900 look like it, but they are to expensive and big.)

Forgive me my scepticism, but just who are you that you can a) tell us what
are working on (which turned out not true!) or b) tell them what they should be working on?
And as for a new 3G phone... maybe you need to remember that 3G is still very new. Most manufacturers have only 1 or a few models out. Also the technology is still in full development, with a lot of carriers still undecided what technology to implement and what not.
It would be nonsense to bring out a large number of 3G phones untill at least the major carriers have decided on a platform, so the phones can accomodate that, don't you agree? Even if they probably have several phones under development and testing.
Once the course has been set, I have no doubt that
will put some excellent phones on the market.
In the meantime, considering the course they have sailed so far, has served them very well, I rally do not think they need loads of advise. The phones that are to be released next year are well in development.
can look further ahead than most of us.
In short: I do not believe in wish lists
Just my 2 cents.

seriously i don't believe this thread would have any impact on se so if i were you: i wouldn't mail them....

To vlammenje I can say that SE has made a rugged phone which is ready for production, but they have not decided if it should be produced or not.
SE thinks that the market for those phones is little.
I really thought that they would present it when they introduced Z600.
But i was wrong and Im dissapointed =(
I WILL send an email to Jan Wäreby and tell him all rhe opinions in this thread. For you who doubt I can say that I spoke to him on the phone some months ago and gave him my opinions.
So come on guys! WRITE YOUR OPINIONS HERE!
