someone else mentioned something similar on here last week (i think in the "i did something naughty today" thread) as an anonymous method to pick up in nightclubs, followed by a photo of yourself once you feel comfortable. interesting idea, and i suppose technically possible, but i don't think it will catch on given the general ignorance of nokia users wrt (unless of course the networks somehow find a way to charge for it )

Sounds like a great idea.
What technology alterations are needed from the BT headset capable phones to make it possible to have a phone to phone conversation over bluetooth?

I wonder...

It's just a nice-to-have feature...
Like picking up that chiq over at the bar counter.. you'll never know... makes people talk I guess... remember that Palm's advertisement on beaming contact between the guy and the gal in 2 different trains in the station?

It would not be worth changing the BT standard for extra range in the future as the "Security" issues of BT mean its enjoying its heyday NOW, it may remain in the background but it wont be allowed to become a feasable means for communication because the networks can't get a revenue from its use !!
